The Roadmap to Success
You will be shown how to access quality career planning information and websites using the tools on our website. In addition you will be provided with information to access our purchased, on-line career planning software, entitle Choices Planner. You will have the opportunity to identify your transferable work skills, clarify your interests as they relate to different jobs, complete other work related questionnaires and access easy to use databases for researching occupations, colleges and financial aid resources. Choices Planner saves all of your information. You will be able to log on to any computer connected to the Internet 24/7 and continue your research. Following the workshop you may schedule an individual appointment with a Career Specialist to further discuss your career plans. Computer skills are not necessary for this workshop.
Choices Planner, Ability Profile
Find out what abilities you have and what career match up to them. Choices Planner has a built in Ability Profile which is made up of six short tests. Knowing your strengths can help you in choosing a career direction to explore. Your Ability information will also be saved under the Choices Planner program for access at another time.
